RISK MANAGEMENT CAREER
Risk managers develop and administer risk management programs and create policies to comply with
safety legislation and industry practices. They research and report on the most cost effective plans to minimize asset liability
and investigate incidences that have resulted in an asset loss.
These individuals may also act as the liaison to attorneys, insurance companies, and individuals
who are investigating asset losses. In some cases, the risk manager has direct supervision over the internal audit staff and
the compliance staff ensuring that they are meeting regulatory requirements.
